a little bit about me....

Jessica is a California girl currently living in Brooklyn, NY. While working on an installation for her 2008 MFA in Imaging Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology she discovered embroidery and has been stitching just about everyday since. Her work creates a personal atlas from memory and memento, collecting and cataloging. Influences from history, natural sciences, the cabinets of curiosity, Victorian era, and photography are constant sources of inspiration.
